First thing this morning these precious discs were delivered right to my door. I love me some Sundays in the morning. The smell of these new CDs made me giddy with excitement. I could not wait to open them up, import them, and hit repeat. Listening to their albums over and over again all day long was all I wanted to do.

I don’t know why, but The Sundays are one of my favorites. I remember back on Guam listening to Blind
on repeat. The sound of the music and Harriet Wheeler’s voice always seemed to put me in a better mood. No matter what mood I was in. Sad, angry, bored, happy. It didn’t matter, I just felt better after listening to them.

My favorite song: Wild Horses.

I’ve owned Blind for at least 10 years, but never got around to buying the other two albums. Until last week when I was looking to add more music, new and old, to my library. Finally I ordered Static & Silence and Reading, Writing and Arithmetic to complete my Sundays collect.

I’d like to think of my recent music purchases as Mother’s Day gifts to myself. You know, since my girls are still a little too young to spoil me for the occasion. Oh. Shut up! Go watch this video and tell me she isn’t totally awesome. I’ve already watched it a million 100 12 a few times.
